3. The Punchliner Comedy Club
Land-based comedy clubs can be rather entertaining. Nobody enjoys paying cover costs, and do you know about the two-drink minimum? They must be joking! The Punchliner Comedy Club™ aboard your Carnival cruise does not offer one of these. Up on stage, you’ll discover some true professionals who know how to inject some humor into anyone’s evening. You can count on these comedians to not hold back. Since some of them come up and say precisely what’s on their mind, arrange family-friendly performances suitable for all ages. So, the only crimson faces in the audience are the result of excessive laughter.
4. Dive-In Movies
Ready to view the stars? With Dive-In Movies at Carnival Seaside Theater™, you can relax in front of a large screen and enjoy true stars. From the luxury of your poolside lounge chair, you may watch sporting events and recent blockbuster blockbusters. Bring your swimwear and take in all the excitement from the pool! 5. Deal or No Deal
Do you remember the game show with the briefcases full of money, the giant red button, and the mystery banker calling in deals? You’ve seen it on TV, now experience it on your next Carnival trip. When it comes to Deal or No Deal at Sea, there are TWO ways to win—and only one of them is reserved for the lucky participant on stage! It works like this: buy a game card (or buy two or three to save money), and each card you hold gives you another chance to be randomly chosen to enter the stage and play the fan-favorite game of removing briefcases throughout the rounds for a $1,000 prize. At Dreams Studio, skilled photographers brilliantly capture this side of people, couples, groups, and families. Reserve your session, and your trip begins. Guide you to the best photo spots aboard the ship, in the onboard photo studio, or ashore in gorgeous locations. You’ll end up with stunning prints or high-quality digital files. 15. Atrium
Here is where you come in! The Atrium, which serves as the gateway to both the ship and the vacation itself, is your first impression of all the fun to come. Because images are an important part of how you and your crew will remember your trip, you can rely on Carnival’s photo professionals to bring your fun side into focus – lighting and background, shutter speed, and aperture knowledge go into every shot they capture. Professionals can be found throughout the ship, from the dining room to the destination. And many times, in between. You’ll even find innovative and fun backdrops throughout the ship where you can stop and pose for a short photo!
20. Military Appreciation Gathering
Carnival has ways to recognize the service of US and Canadian military men and veterans. Exclusive military cruise deals, undoubtedly, but the biggest compliments come during the voyage: during the Military Appreciation Gathering. Here, we recognize not only their courage and sacrifice but also that of their families. This ceremony is held on every cruise, always during Military Appreciation Day, and everyone is welcome to attend and show their support. However, the longest-serving military member in the room is always recognized and receives a unique hero coin, while all members leave with a commemorative pin. It’s also worth noting that one service member will win a free trip each month, and this is the only opportunity to enter the contest.

I would add that play is crucial for people of all ages, thus onboard games are a big part of the Carnival® experience for both young and old! Go from ‘regular vacationer’ to ‘world-traveling art wiz’ in one trip flat – Carnival® provides such a diverse range of instructive and fascinating seminars that Art History degrees should be awarded at the end of each cruise! Your cruise may not be an authorized university, but it does include a ‘Art 101’ lecture series that will serve as your introduction to this dynamic world. 23. Volleyball
Carnival cruises are all about service. There is usually someone to take your dinner order, change your bed, bring you drinks, provide massages at the spa, and so on. There is virtually little on board where you are left to fend for yourself. Volleyball is an activity that should be considered self-service. That being stated, regardless of your serving style (overhand, underhand, or sidearm), you can take to the court and start the game your way.

A room full of overly serious old men, many wearing monocles, paying top bucks for precious antique works of art. If “art auction” comes to mind, set your expectations before your Carnival® cruise! 26. Basketball
You may believe that basketball is all about the hoop and getting the ball in, but you’ve never played aboard a Carnival® ship. Step into the Havana Bar™ and be transported to antebellum Cuba, maintained today via ancient postcards, vintage literature, and classic foods. Enjoy stunning ocean views while trying something authentically Cuban, such as café Cubano (Cuban coffee!) or handcrafted Cuban cocktails (daiquiris, mojitos, and more). And this place does not cool down as the sun goes down, with music and dancing keeping things scorching far into the night.
29. RedFrog Tiki Bar
Let’s go over what we know about the enigmatic RedFrog so far. He’s adorable and easygoing. The flavor is everything to the tiny guy. But I only recently learned of the years he spent soaking up the sun among the grass skirts and frangipani flowers of the South Pacific, where, as he says, it’s simple to be red. Some of his favorite dishes from those days make up the heart of the menu at the first-ever RedFrog® Tiki Bar – try a Polynesian Punch, a Jungle Bird, or a Red’s Rum Jumper. This poolside bar covers two decks and, regardless of where you’re sailing, will transport you to the land of Tiki.

So, when it comes to drinks, consider the fruity Hurricane cocktail or the stately Sazerac – for decades, these hometown heroes have served as ambassadors for the city’s values of fun, flavor, and simply good times. You know Carnival is all about that, so make sure to visit The Brass Magnolia during Mardi Gras®! You might imagine this aboard bar at the crossroads of two of New Orleans’ most enduring icons: the city’s legendary jazz scene and its historic Garden District. The swinging jazz trio adds a cultural touch to the experience. It only takes one look at the decor to feel like you’ve stepped into an opulent Southern house.

If you’ve had the pleasure of strolling around New Orleans’ French Quarter in the evening, you’re not alone in believing that mystery and surprises await around every turn. Carnival pays homage to the Crescent City area on Mardi Gras™. A French Quarter zone on a new ship is incomplete without an unassuming bar that feels like it’s always been there, hinting at something deeper. This is the ambiance you’ll find at Fortune Teller, where anything is possible. The Victorian grandeur and mystery décor evoke a rich history and hint to the magical… The crystal ball reminds us not to forget the wonderful beverages! 34. Exclusive Carnival Brews
Who says good beers should be difficult to find? Not! Carnival-exclusive beers are now available in cans aboard all ships, allowing you to experience your favorite vacation flavors.
