  • 2. Roatan Island Brewing Co. – Roatan Island Brewing Co. is located in the lush Palmetto Valley of Roatan. Brewing a variety of easy drinking ales and lagers, many with a tropical twist. Just Beer? Our property includes nature trails, foosball, ping pong tables, horseshoes, fire pit, and even a TV for those who need to catch up on some football.

Mahogany Bay Cruise Center –  the port has modern facilities with public restrooms, an ATM, a shopping center with many retail choices, restaurants, bars, and a beach club that is a short walk away. WiFi and internet facilities are available for visitors who need to stay connected. Bear in mind that getting around Isla Roatan involves quite a bit of walking, and there is an uphill grade when leaving the ship toward the port area. The incline could pose an issue for mobility-challenged cruisers coming to and from the ship. 
  • 4. Sandy Bay Beach – The property is unique to Roatan. Just off the main road to a private beach area. This area is part of the Roatan Marine Park preserve. The reef system parallels the white sand beach of Sandy Bay The closiest swim to a underwater ecologial paradise teaming with tropical fish and corals. This area is a quiet tranquil area of Roatan without high end hotels and condos but close to the tourist meccas.

Half Moon Bay – Half Moon Bay, located within Roatan’s West End, is a beach area that offers the ideal island experience: snorkeling, diving, kayaking, submarine rides, floating docks, beachside bars, and more. Since there is no fee to access Half Moon Bay, you will find a mix of local islanders looking to simply cool off and international travelers that have come for the world-renowned scuba diving. Even if you are not a scuba diver, the destination is a must see on the island, as the extensive list of amenities offers something for family members of all ages and levels of physical activity. In addition to the activities in and around Half Moon Bay, this is a great location to catch a sunset because it is on the west side of the island. Also, the various bars and restaurants along the beach light up once the sun goes down, and Half Moon Bay transforms itself from a diving and snorkeling base into a lively night scene.
