- 1. Irving Nature Park – The Irving Nature Park is a free park in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, close to the nearby urban centre, only minutes away from the uptown area. This environmental retreat was developed with the intention of protecting the environment.

Reversing Falls Rapids – Fallsview Park is one of the best locations to view the Reversing Falls Rapids, a daily phenomenon created by the collision of the Bay of Fundy tide and the Saint John River. Get a bird’s eye view of the river’s turmoil at the lookouts provided. Observe the rock formations, left uncovered during low tide, displaying three continental plates, Africa, North America, and South America. With free parking and a large viewing deck, Fallsview Park is a great spot to observe the rapids during high tide, and rocks during low tide.

- 4. Rockwood Park – Rockwood Park is a city park in Saint John, New Brunswick. It is 2,200 acres in size, with ten lakes and 55 trails and footpaths. The park includes upland Acadian mixed forest, several hills and several caves, as well as freshwater lakes, with a trail network, and a golf course.

Market Square – One of Saint John’s historic waterfront buildings welcomes you to enjoy a mix of restaurants, food-to-go, retail shops, spa, library, with access to the Inside Connection Pedway System linking Uptown Saint John features such as the Canada Games Aquatic Centre, TD Station, City Market, Hilton Hotel and the Saint John Trade & Convention Centre. Market Square has plenty of temperature controlled, indoor parking below, operated by the Saint John Parking Commission. It’s the perfect place to shop, dine, relax or access the Harbour Passage walking trail, just outside its doors.

Ideal for walking, running and biking, the trail includes stretches of Broad, Sydney and Water Streets.
- 9. Queen Square Farmers Market – Queen Square Farmers Market (QSFM) is an open air market in the heart of the historic South End neighbourhood of Saint John. Since its inception in 2011, the Market’s goal is to bring good quality, healthy, local food to the heart of urban Saint John. The Market attracts visitors and vendors from all over southern New Brunswick. The diversity of vendors at the Market includes farmers, food vendors, artisans, and non-profit organisations. With over 20 nationalities represented, the QSFM is truly a multicultural Market. The Queen Square Farmers Market is open every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. from mid-May until mid-October.
