- Don’t save a whole row of seats in the theater of pool deck. Don’t be a chair hog. Ships employees are starting to remove personal items that are left on a chair for too long.
- Don’t wait for the last minute to book shore excursions. The good ones sell out quickly.
- Don’t take fruits and vegetables off the ship. You can be fined by the Cruise Port.
- Don’t Overpack.
- Don’t pack too little.
- Don’t put valuables in your checked luggage.
- Don’t throw anything overboard.
- DON’T be rude to staff!
- Don’t refuse to use the hand sanitizer.
- Don’t forget to make time to upack.
- Don’t book the cheapest cabin on the ship.
- Don’t book Connecting Staterooms unless your own family members are next door.
- Don’t open your cabin door and balcony door at the same time. WIND TUNNEL!
- Don’t forget to explore the ship.

- Don’t remove gratuities. Cruise ship tipping etiquette is a touchy subject, and you have to do what’s right for you. The crew go above and beyond to provide you with a wonderful vacation, and the gratuities are a big part of how they make a living.

- Don’t forget comfortable walking shoes.
- Don’t forget to try new things.
- Don’t forget to research cruise ports and excursions.
- Don’t wear camouflage clothing in Cruise Ports. Some Caribbean Islands don’t allow Camouflage.
- Don’t bring drugs on your cruise. You can get arrested in port, on the ship or even get kicked off of the cruise.
- Don’t forget to wear sunscreen.
- Don’t forget the Cruise Line’s Dress Code.
- Don’t forget to pack Clothes for Formal Nights and Theme Parties.
- Don’t ever sit or stand on balcony railings.
- Don’t smoke on balconies or in any non designated areas.
- Don’t be late at cruise port days and all aboard time.
- Don’t be late for traditional time dinner.
- Don’t eat too much. (Good luck!)

- Don’t use the elevator to go up or down a deck (unless you physically need to).
