There are many surprises on a Cruise, but not all of them are going to cost you money! There are many complementary perks that you can get from Guest Services – all you need to do is ask!
- Replacement Cruise Cards – Guest services will print you a replacement card for free.
- Help Connecting to WiFi – Having Problems getting online. Guest Services can often help with basic issues like logging into the ship’s app, activating WiFi Packages or resetting your Login.
- Emergency Laundry Help – Guest Services might be able to help with a quick fix if you spill something – stain wipes, a safety pin, or even a fast spot clean. They won’t handle a full load of laundry, but a small emergency is normally not an issue.
- Luggage Repairs – Guest Services may be able to help with a broken zipper or bad wheel – they can normally fix it within a day or two.
- Printing Documents – Guest services can usually print a few pages for free.
- Extra Towels or Blankets – you can also request bed rails, waterproof sheets or extra blankets for sofa beds for your kids. Your Room Steward can normally help, but if you can’t find them – try Guest Services.
- Hypoallergenic Pillows – If you have an allergy or sensitivity or it’s just a preference.
- Earplugs or Sleep Aids – Cruise ships can often be noisy, or you could have loud neighbors. You can also request sleep masks.
- Plug Adaptors – If you forgot your adaptor, Guest Services may have some International Adapters to borrow.
- Phone Chargers – Guest Services may have a collection of lost-and-found phone chargers you can borrow.
- Daily New Digests – If you want to keep up with the news, but want to disconnect from the Internet – these are sometimes available on request.
- Ship Maps – Guest Services often has Printed Ship Maps.
- Stationary – Guest Services can often provide pens, paper, envelopes or thank you notes.
- Celebration Surprises – If you are Celebrating a Special Occasion – let Guest Services know. Most packages cost money, but you still might get a nice surprise like a balloon, cake slice or towel decoration. Mention your occasion early for the best chance.
- Postcard Drop-Off – Guest Services will often mail stamped postcards for you.
- Playing Cards – Guest Services normally has several packs of playing cards that were cycled through the casino – they will either loan them to you or give them away for free.
- Cabin Upgrades – It never hurts to ask. Someone may no-show or have to disembark early.
- Sport Equipment – You can normally borrow things like basketballs or table tennis balls.
