Half Moon Cay is a Private Island Owned by Carnival Corporation. When you dock in HMC, your ship will be the only one there for the day. There are several Excursions that you can choose to do, but I suggest enjoying this beautiful private island without doing any Excursions.
FREE THINGS TO DO IN HALF MOON CAY
- 1. Beach time: Relaxing on the main beach is free, including using the beach chairs and umbrellas provided by the cruise line.
- 2. Snorkeling: Explore the underwater life by snorkeling right off the beach, often with no additional cost for gear rental, or bring your own.
- 3. Nature trail walk: Take a stroll along the nature trail to observe local flora and fauna.
- 4. Playground access: Kids can play freely at the designated playground area.
- 5. Shop in the Fort San Salvador Welcome Center, play in the water park, and grab a cocktail and head to the beach.
FOOD ON HALF MOON CAY
Lunch is served on the island barbecue style with grilled chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, German potato salad, chili fried rice, fresh fruit, and dessert. There is no extra charge for this lunch.
Lobster Shack – Additional Charge. Fun little Seafood Restaurant you can access right from the beach.
