Carnival Cruise Line Expands Baltimore with Second Ship for 2027/28 Season. Carnival Miracle Joins Carnival Pride in Baltimore. Beginning in the Fall of 2027, Carnival Miracle will join her sister ship Carnival Pride in Baltimore to offer guests a greater variety of Caribbean itineraries throughout the season. The Spirit-Class ship will operate 7,8 and 9 day sailings to the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean, along with extended 12 and 14 day Carnival voyages to sought-after destinations such as Dominica, Guadeloupe, St. Maarten and many others.

CARNIVAL ANNOUNCES FIRST EVER SCHEDULED CRUISES TO AFRICA IN 2027!
Carnival Cruise Line has revealed a major expansion to its global itinerary lineup, announcing that it will make its first-ever scheduled calls to Africa during the 2027-2028 Season.
Carnival Sunshine will homeport in Barcelona, Spain and Civitavecchia (Rome) Italy from May through October 2027. Carnival will stop in Tangier, Morocco and La Goulette (Tunis) Tunisia. In addition to the African ports, new Carnival Destinations include Bari, Italy; Bar, Montenegro; and Ajaccio (Corsica) France. The ship will also revisit popular guest-favorite ports such as Genoa, Salerno, Palermo and Catania in Italy; Palma de Mallorca in Spain and Izmir, Turkey.

Carnival announces Dry Dock Schedule for 2026-2027.
When cruise ships go into dry dock, they not only receive routine maintenance to keep the ships running in top shape, but also get cosmetic changes like new carpet, lighting, wall coverings, tile work, more power outlets in cabins etc.
New restaurants and features are often added, especially to older ships that have more limited options for dining.
Here is Carnival Cruise Line’s current upgrade/dry dock schedule through the summer of 2027. Carnival currently has 18 cruise ships scheduled to head to the shipyard over the next 24 months. All dates were verified with Carnival Cruise Line as of November 2025.
